What You'll Need

Household iron (no steam)

Thin cotton cloth or parchment paper

Ironing board or hard, heat-resistant surface

Instructions

Preheat your iron to the Cotton setting (high heat) and turn off the steam.

Place the patch on the desired location with the adhesive side facing down.

Cover the patch with a thin cotton cloth or parchment paper to protect the embroidery.

Press firmly with the iron for 20–30 seconds without moving it around.

Turn the garment inside out and iron the back of the patch for another 20–30 seconds.

Allow the patch to cool completely before checking the edges. If needed, repeat the process.
Wait 24 hours before washing.

Wash inside out on a gentle cycle.

Air dry or tumble dry on low heat.

For items that receive heavy wear (backpacks, hats, jackets, etc.), we recommend sewing around the edges for extra durability.
